A long long time ago, a teenage Victoria Jayne met her older brother's friend and Chuck E. Cheese co-worker. After years of family friendship, this wonderful fella went on to create delicious spirits and open a magnificent distillery, The Garden State Distillery, in Toms River, NJ where he graciously agrees to host the wonderful event known as Booze & Books.
How It Happened
After attending a few book signings, Victoria Jayne consulted some of her author friends about a more intimate and local event. in 2022, they teamed up with Garden State Distillery to host the first Booze and Books. It went a thousand times better than they had anticipated.
In 2023, we added another author, and tried it again. It went even better than the previous year.
With 2024 on the horizon, everyone agreed to do it again.
