What’s your full name?
Roricus Richard Fromm
Do you have a nickname? (If so, who uses it?)
Rori. In today’s times, Roricus isn’t all that common. It’s easier to blend in with a normal name, so I chose Rori this time around. I change it up every sixty years or so. I went by Richard for a while before this.
What’s your birthday?
Where were you born & where did you grow up?
Where do you live now? What made you move there?
New Orleans, LA. I used to roam around a lot. You sort of have to when you’re like me. People start to notice after thirty or so years when you don’t age. For now, I am here.
Do you have any siblings?
Not anymore. They are long gone, and to be honest, I haven’t tracked my lineage. Some do, but when I chose the nightlife, it was best to sever ties with my day life. Nothing but heartache there. In the beginning, in those days, it was far too dangerous to try to stay involved in their lives. It’s a sacrifice and one I try not to think about.
Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Left-handed. All the most intelligent people in history were left-handed.
Do you have a motto? If so, what is it?
Mottos and creeds are a waste of time. I try to live by a principal of doing what my heart feels is right and what lets me sleep during the day.
Here’s the fun stuff. Are you ready?
I was waiting for it. It was kind of boring up until now.
Cat or dog?
Neither. Pets are far too much of a burden.
Beach or pool?
There is something about the way the moon reflects on the ocean. It’s something I miss about living on the coasts. Beach.
Paperback or Hardcover?
Classics. I am an old fashioned fellow. Hardcover.
eBook or Physical Book?
Books. You cannot get the same feel from a screen that you can get from a book.
Coffee or Tea?
When I drank it, tea. Now, it’s lost its flavor.
How do you take your coffee?
I used to put a cube of sugar in my tea. I don’t drink coffee and never have.
Do you have any secret skills? Like, do you sing or dance?
I am one hell of a dancer. Though it’s no secret. If I had a secret, I wouldn’t tell you.
Do you prefer talking on the phone or sending texts?
Phone. A lot is lost over text-based communication.
Cake or pie?
Pie. There is nothing like the smell of a pie baking or while it cools in the window. It’s one of the few things I remember about my mother. She used to bake the most delicious pies.
Do you prefer boxers or briefs?
Briefs. They accent the package nicely. For myself, I like them as well. Lots of support.
High heels or flats?
For women? High heeled shoes all day long. They extend their body and give them the most alluring of lines.
What’s your favorite season?
I’d say spring. People have been cooped up for so long in their homes due to cold weather that they are beside themselves to get out into the world. It makes hunting easier. The worst season for hunting is winter. Shorter days, crappy weather and people just tend to stay indoors.
Netflix or YouTube?
I’m not really partial to either.
Facebook or Twitter?
Have I told you that I’m not really up on technology? I would rather be done with it, but it’s a necessary evil lately. I let someone else handle that for me.
Mobile Games or Console Games?
I love words with friends. That is one thing I have really taken to. So, that’s mobile.
iOS or Andriod?
iOS. Apple just makes a superior product. If I am going to use technology, it should be the best available.
Big Party or Small Gathering?
It depends on the purpose. If I am hunting, a big party is easier to blend into. If I wish to socialize, I prefer much smaller settings.
Football or Basketball?
I suppose you mean American football? Truly, I don’t follow either. Sports were never really my thing.
What’s worse? Laundry or Dishes?
Well, thankfully, I have blessedly few dishes. So, by default, I will choose laundry
Tablet or Computer?
Tablet. If I must engage, the tablet has a nice screen, and its less bulky.
At a movie, Candy or Popcorn?
I think I will have to pass on this one.
Pancake or Waffle?
I don’t recall having a preference.
HEATHER: If you could choose to be a character from any book, whom would you choose and why?
Jander Sunstar of Vampire of the Mists by Christie Golden. I see a lot of myself in his story of pain in the lost love. Though, mine had a happier ending. I also like elves, particularly, the kind of elf Jander is, a golden sun elf. Sometimes, I miss the sun. Death has taught me not to take things for granted, even the littlest of things.
