Character Interview - Divina - Insta.png

What’s your full name?

Divina Ramana Bihari

Do you have a nickname? (If so, who uses it?)

The very unoriginal shortening of it to just “Div” when I was a child by one of my foster mothers.

What’s your birthday?

March 23

Where were you born & where did you grow up?

I was born in Elgin, IL, and grew up all around the Chicago area.

Where do you live now? What made you move there?

The outskirts of New Orleans, LA. Love and this pesky prophecy that just wouldn’t leave me alone.

Do you have any siblings?

No. My parents died when I was young.

Are you right-handed or left-handed?

Right-handed, isn’t most of the world right-handed?

Do you have a motto? If so, what is it?

:Laughs: I didn’t always. I guess I just muddled through life. Then this prophecy shit happened. Now its, Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans. I never expected my life to be what it is today, but I wouldn’t change a damn thing.

Here’s the fun stuff. Are you ready?

Hit me.

Cat or dog?

Dog. Always, hands down. They are loyal and loving. All they wanna’ do show you affection. Cat’s just want servants.

Beach or pool?

Beach. What I wouldn’t give for a palm tree, some white sand, and a daiquiri. Something super fruity with lots of rum. You know with a shooter stuck in it for added bang. I really could use a vacation.

Paperback or Hardcover?

There’s just something about a good hardcover book. Softcover are okay, but the hardcovers just seem to last longer.

eBook or Physical Book?

This one’s hard. Both have their merits. I mean with an eBook I can have literally thousands at my disposal while I’m on the beach with my daiquiri. However, there is just something about the smell of real books. That fresh off the press pages smell. I just love it. I can’t choose. Both.

Coffee or Tea?

Coffee. Oh my God! Starting a day without it is a definite way to get me to rage out.

How do you take your coffee?

Why? You buying? If so, I want one of those caramel things. Medium. I don’t want to be up all night. Those days are over.

Do you have any secret skills? Like, do you sing or dance?

:Laughs: I think my one secret skill is enough thanks. I sing and dance openly. It’s sort of in my DNA as I’m of Romani descent.

Do you prefer talking on the phone or sending texts?

Depends on who I’m talking to. But I guess, if I have to choose, I would choose text.

Cake or pie?

Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.

Do you prefer it when a guy wears boxers or briefs?

Nothing at all. One less hurdle to get passed when I need to.

High heels or flats?

Sandals. I mean heels are okay if I am doing something formal, which I rarely do, but I prefer to be on flat ground. Actually, barefoot if I truly had my preference.

What’s your favorite season?

Spring. It’s not too hot yet, but the weather is warming. Everything is in bloom. It’s like a time of rebirth, you know? Gone are the gray days of suck of winter. The world around me is coming back to life. It’s got to be one of the most colorful seasons.

Netflix or YouTube?

Netflix. They have a ton of quality content without too much crap to sift through. With YouTube, I feel like I have to sort through too much junk to get to what I want.

Facebook or Twitter?

I’m not really into social media. I hate the algorithms that dictate what I see. I miss the days of my newsfeed just being what people posted when they posted it. Now I miss too much stuff. I guess maybe Facebook because I don’t have a character limit on posts.

Mobile Games or Console Games?

I don’t really play video games. I guess computer games? Does that make them console games? I play mindless stuff on my phone nothing like super gamey. I also don’t play them often. Either way, I like Sims 4. Not that I play it often.

iOS or Andriod?

Android. Is there even a question? Apple is too expensive.

Big Party or Small Gathering?

You know, until all this happened, I was never comfortable with big parties. I preferred small groups and just people I knew. But, now that I’m sort of in a pack, and it’s not small. I have come around to the big parties.

Football or Basketball?

Ugh. Neither. I’m not really into sports. I don’t watch any on purpose.

What’s worse? Laundry or Dishes?

:Rolls eyes: Seriously? It seems like they both are never-ending. Laundry I think is worse though. Dishes can be done quick. Laundry just takes forever. Half an hour to wash, an hour to dry, and then you have to fold it and put it away? No thank you. Sometimes, I wish I was in a Disney movie and the little squirrels and rabbits would do it for me.

Tablet or Computer?

Tablet. They’re just so compact. Who has a computer these days? Wait. I do. I have a laptop. Shit. Still prefer my tablet.

At a movie, Candy or Popcorn?

Popcorn. It’s a tradition. With a lot of that liquid, they try to pass off as butter. Spoiler, it's not butter. It’s just liquid fat cells. It’s so delicious though. I’m glad it’s only available at the movies. If it were anywhere else, I’d be four hundred pounds.

Pancake or Waffle?

Waffles. They have these neat little cups built in to hold the syrup. Syrup is life.
